Well, we had some snow on Friday night this past weekend. It was really only enough snow to cover the driveway and sidewalk with a wet layer of snow, but it was still there when the kids got up the next morning. Since we've barely had snow here this winter, and a snowfall on a weekend day was been a rare thing, the kids woke up and looked out the window with great excitement - "Hooray! We get to shovel today!"Well, by the time we had breakfast, I went to the gym and came back, and we dressed and went outside, the majority of the snow was already melted. Did that hinder the troops? Not at all!! We had a wonderful time all afternoon, taking the little bit of snow from the front door and stairs and dumping it onto the grass. Then it was inside for a bit of hot chocolate.
Funnily enough, it is supposed to hit 18 degrees celsius tomorrow, so hopefully that means spring is here to stay. It may not make the kids happy, but it will suit me just fine!
