My Mom arrived this weekend to visit for a month. It's fantastic to have her here, particularly for the kids who always have something they want to show Grannie, read to her or tell her about. Mom had fun visiting with Nan and Ray, and with Justin and Rosa, who dropped by during the weekend to visit. The kids' weekend involved a lot of dressing up, play-doh sculptures and splashing in the sprinkler outside, while Grannie watched and cheered them on. It was a fun filled few days.

Jared thinks his Grannie is the best thing ever, and he always wants to go and see her. He's been constantly asking to go and visit her for the past few days, and we've had to remind him that she's away just now. He can't wait 'til she's back, so he can tell her all about ... well ... everything, I suppose.
I hope she's having lots of fun!
