My DT kit this month from
Scrapalicious was full of sunshine, so I couldn't resist creating a layout with Sunshine as the title. I loved using the glitter Thickers from
American Crafts. The golden glow of these glitter coated chipboard alphas made them so much fun to use with sunny photos, and the sweet papers from the
Crate Paper Sweet Branch collection, went together with them so naturally. I have a mini-album in progress too,but couldn't wait to get these posted, so that will have to follow soon.
After my recent post about how fast kids grow, I couldn't resist doing a layout about my dude turning 8. For this one I combined a few of the Sweet Branch embellishments with some great new
Chatterbox papers. One of the papers had adorable little little trees on it, and I pieced one like it in the lower right corner. I also included a piece of one of my favourite new lines of chipboard, the little dinosaur from
Riff Raff Designs. If you saw Evan's
7th birthday photo, at least he is a bit better sport this year!
