It was wonderful this week to spend time with my first little niece, Aeden. My brother Chris and his wife Lisa were here for a short visit with their adorable little girl. While they're a little uncomfortable with their new baby's photos being too prominent on the internet, I'm glad they don't mind having this photo posted, since it focuses only on her gorgeous little head. Thanks for letting me share, Chris and Lisa!All three of our kids had a wonderful time "taking care of" their cousin, and they already miss her a lot. While the girls seem to be naturally fascinated with babies, Aeden in particular, it's nice to see Evan so taken with his sweet little cousin. He's so gentle. I think he has happy memories of when the girls were babies.
When Aeden was born, I made a little wall hanging for her room, which, embarrassingly, I just gave to Chris and Lisa during their visit! You can take a peek at it here. I hope it goes nicely in her room.
Aeden, you're a beautiful and charming little girl. We are so excited to watch you grow, and we can't wait to see you again soon.
